Steri-Tech LLC was founded in May 2019 by Jorge Rodriguez, a military veteran and federal professional with more than 36 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, procurement, and organizational support.
Throughout his military and federal civilian career, Mr. Rodriguez built extensive expertise managing complex supply operations in high-demand environments, including combat deployment support operations in Iraq. He also served as a Contracting Officer’s Representative for both the Department of Defense and the Veterans Health Administration, ensuring procurement activities met rigorous federal and state compliance standards.
Mr. Rodriguez combines operational leadership with practical procurement experience, helping organizations improve sourcing efficiency, maintain compliance, and strengthen operational readiness. His background spans healthcare logistics, government contracting, inventory management, sterile processing operations, and strategic supply chain coordination.
In addition to his procurement and logistics leadership, Mr. Rodriguez served for many years as Chief of Central Sterile Processing Services for the VA Bedford Healthcare System. In this role, he oversaw sterile processing operations critical to patient safety, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, equipment readiness, and operational continuity within a major Veterans healthcare environment. His experience provided direct insight into the standards, accountability, and responsiveness healthcare organizations require from their supply and operational partners.
He further expanded his international business and operational expertise by earning an Executive MBA in International and Cross-Cultural Business from Northeastern University, with a concentration in global supply chain operations.
Today, Mr. Rodriguez remains actively involved in the veteran business community as a member of the Veterans Business Owners Association and a Board Member of the Veterans Business Owners Initiative. Through his leadership and continued service, he remains committed to supporting organizations that depend on reliability, accountability, and disciplined execution.
